FYP Olympic, Sprint and Relay Triathlon
he FYP Olympic, Sprint, and Relay Triathlon, originally scheduled for February 1st, had to be postponed due to inclement weather. The event was successfully rescheduled and held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, and it turned out to be an incredible day of racing! 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️
Athletes, volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and spectators all came together to make the event a huge success, and everyone enjoyed an awesome day on the course.
In the Olympic Distance Triathlon, Rodrigo Teixeira and Ilaria Gervasini delivered dominant performances to take the top spots. The Sprint Distance Triathlon was won by Lauchlan Menzie and Mia Van Der Riet, both putting in outstanding performances. In the Relay Category, the team Trio of Trouble claimed the victory, with Lauchlan Menzie leading the swim, Aaron Horton powering through the bike, and Blair Thompson finishing strong on the run.
